「The room was clean and ready when I arrived which was a bit earlier than check-in allowed, but I called in advance to see if they could accommodate my earlier arrival time. They made no guarantees but said it shouldn't be a problem, which it wasn't. The staff was so friendly. Safe area. I texted the number provided for coffee in the morning, and it was delivered right to my room- they even included ice like I requested, but wasn't sure if they had it. Amazing experience. 「It was an interesting stay. They were hexagon buildings. The room had a bit of an odor but the beds were comfortable. The shuttle to the casinos was an old limo which was cool. Breakfast was basic, waffles, cereal, bagels & English muffins. The coffee was very good. All in all not a bad stay.」

「It’s an old motel but it did exceed my expectations. The only issue I had was that there was no body wash in the container on the shower wall labeled body wash. My husband went to the office and was told someone would come in a few minutes but they never showed up. Husband went back to the office and was handed the small plastic tube type of shampoo, conditioner and a few small bars of soap. Good enough, but a little disappointing. 」

「I asked the desk to charge the card I used for the security deposit (which I presented at check in) for the final total, yet they charged the credit card I used to hold the room when I made the reservation. Also, he couldn’t get the printer to work at check out, so I asked for an email receipt, which he said he would send, and I never got it. As for the room, the TV didn’t work, and there was no full length mirror. Also saw no hand soap on bathroom the sink, but found something in the shower...

「Depending on your need for staying in a motel Solano provides a nice respite. We chose a king room , which was brightly decorated. The room had a microwave which could accommodate a larger travel mug height and a larger width . Pleasantly surprised with this for our purpose of cooking / heating . They do not have and set up for continental breakfasts . The kitchen area has a small sink , above microwave, mini refrigerator and several cupboards . It is very homey as if you were going to stay...

It was a friendly welcome by staff, a decent and comfortable room, and the location was great for the Aquarium and Olde Village. Very walkable and parking is convenient. Room was reasonably priced.
