"Pretty much everything about this hotel was bad. When we arrived we were told we didn’t have a reservation but they had some rooms available and gave them to us. The rooms were in bad shape. The refrigerator in one of the rooms didn’t work. The restrooms were not clean enough. But the worst part was the strong marijuana smell in the elevator and hallways, and the strange-looking people loitering in and outside the hotel."

"The staff was very friendly especially the woman who was responsible for the breakfasts. She was wonderful. I would suggest having more gluten free options ex. Breads/bagels. The location of the hotel was great. So much near by for food and shopping too. On the negatives the outside garbage was always overflowing. The restroom floors were filthy. The chairs in our room were stained and the carpets did not look clean at all. Pen/nailpolish stains on comforter. We booked a room for three and there were only two towels and one roll of toilet paper. When I asked for extra towels I was told to grab some pool towels and they were no bigger than a hand towel. I’ve stayed at Country Inn and Suites before with no issues but this trip was disappointing. It appeared to have some sort of construction going on with debris around outside but it was not obvious to what was going on."

"The lake view was gorgeous but the hotel was decent. The rooms weren’t very well insulated so you could hear everything in the hallways. The hotel had a strange unpleasant smell. The bed was comfortable but again could hear everything in the hallway. If you need something cheap to stay in but don’t want a Motel 6, this is the next best thing."
