"Everyone was very nice just wish the coffees bar was open all day. The only other thing was the soap and shampoo were very strong smelling and i couldn't use at all. The smell actually gave me an allergy attack. But the hotel was super awesome and clean lovely people working there."

"This hotel hosts an event during the weekend of the Kentucky Derby. Unless you are attending the event- I would avoid the hotel during this weekend. Many hotel amenities are adjusted to cater to those participating in the Derby event- it’s not beneficial for guests who are not."

"We had an issue when getting into our room. The front desk handled it immediately and even gave us free breakfast the next morning. All staff was very friendly! We went to dinner that night and the staff again was very friendly but the food was NOT good. We ordered a "smash" burger... it was just a regular and very clearly frozen patty. No seasoning. It was missing the onions too. No flavor and impossible to eat. Everything else was just okay. Nothing to rave about. The next morning we went down for our complimentary breakfast. It was not good. Bacon tasted like it was cooked last week, ham was dry. Eggs were flavorless. I could not imagine paying $15 per person for that breakfast. We have had complimentary breakfast at other hotels that were way better. Everything at this hotel was great except the food. It was such a let down honestly "

"Clean room, friendly staff, great location"

"I had stayed at this location about 4 years prior and it was better then. They have tried to upgrade to new paint and trim and furnishings, but sometimes you just can’t hide age and poor maintenance or clientele. It mostly smelled of pot in the evening when I checked in and was the first thing I smelled when I opened the room door in the morning. The breakfast was like warm gravy with dry biscuits and no eggs. The lady in front of me grabbed the last 4 pancakes while I was waiting and she definitely didn’t need them. I had 2 small yogurts and bad coffe which I tossed outside. Overall would give a 2, but the bed and pillows were very comfortable and I pride my sleep. However, it felt like a not very safe area and would not recommend walking far at night."

"Enjoyed our stay! Room was wonderful, clean and very comfortable. We had an event at the Pabst theater and we were able to get there without leaving the building. Many restaurants around either walking distance or short Uber ride away. Would definitely stay again."
