「Before I review the hotel proper let me just say Lamego is a really cool town and this hotel is an upscale place from which to explore it. The staff were excellent. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and parking was in a secure underground parking area. 「Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. 」

「We had a memorable stay of two nights at the Quinta de S. Bernardo in Douro Valley. This inn is located in a fully functional farmhouse and vineyard, perched high on the slopes of Douro Valley mountains offering picture perfect views.
