Beautiful property with a great wine tour. Breakfast was delicious as well and it had a nice bar. There are wild peacocks and pea hens running around and the spa has some unusual treatments. Loved this stay!

I chose Quinta da Pacheca to celebrate my birthday expecting a relaxing and special experience. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. The spa facilities were not working properly: the water circuit pool and steam sauna were cold, and the dry sauna was out of order. When I reported this to the front desk, the receptionist laughed and said the previous guest had not complained, and no solution was offered. On a positive note, the reception and restaurant staff were very polite and attentive. However, for a hotel of this level, the lack of maintenance and a professional response to a guest’s concern is unacceptable — especially on a special occasion like a birthday.

I can’t even adequately describe how magical this place is. We stayed in a wine barrel room and we were completely surrounded by the grapes growing on the spectacular vineyard. Absolutely stunning!!
