While the common areas have maintained the majestic grandeur, our suite was tastefully modern, with all that one would expect from a hotel of this stature. I would recommend the hotel spa and all the dining options on the premises we sampled were up to standard. 」

「Reception was friendly and welcoming. The pool area and the playground were very clean and well kept, the rooms’ temperature control, fireplace, dishwasher, oven…all worked well. All the pans, pots, dishes and silverware we needed were included. Comfy beds and overall cozy atmosphere. The place is dated but well kept. The game room was very small (three arcade games, one foosball table). 」

「I normally have a good time, I have visited many times over the years. But they were having the concrete near the pool area cleaned and it was very very loud and woke me up very early. I came to rest and enjoy the quietness and the air. I had the window opened and was off the pool. I was disappointed to hear such loud noise for the whole day.」
