We were only here for one night, but what I saw as a passenger in the city was beautiful. We drove past the lake and I saw the Capitol building in the distance. Stunning city view! Small lakes with people ice fishing and a breathtaking sunset.

Madison is a beautiful city, very walkable and bikeable. Large dedicated bike lanes. Rental electric bikes are available. With beautiful clean lakes all within a few miles it is a great place to vacation. Lots of restaurants.

Madison is a great place to visit and/or live. There's always something to do. If you get a chance, go to a UW football game and be sure to stay for the 5th quarter entertainment, it will not disappoint.

Despite it being a college city, and we there the weekend of St. Patrick's Day, it didn't seem crowded or chaotic. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants. The Chazen museum of art is excellent.

We really learned a lot at the tour of the Capitol. We enjoyed the first day of the Farmers Market. We liked Ian's Pizza on the Square for lunch after going through the Market area.

We felt safe. Everything was clean and peaceful. It was one of the nicer college towns ive been too. Im from Michigan and id have to say it was nicer than ann arbor and east Lansing.

It's a great city. We visited our granddaughter at the U of Wisc and the campus was beautiful as well as many cultural things to do and see. I would definitely go back to Madison.
