「It was off season which may account for it being so quiet. The use of bikes, canoe, kayaks complete with life jackets all at your fingertips at no cost when ever you needed it, was great. And you are right on the lake!!! Manager and staff were very friendly.」

「The room and bathroom were spacious. My only suggestion is there should be more than one lamp in the main room. A lamp is especially needed near the dining table.」

「The place was nothing fancy. But isn’t amazing budget option for a solo traveler if you’re planning on not spending your time at your hotel or lodging location. I was there for a couple planned hikes. This met my needs entirely, even though I had a couple noisy suite mates. Overall a very good option.」

「We stayed at the lodge in July. We brought our own kayaks and left at the shoreline. We had a couple excursions paddling past the locks one day, and the next day to to the island in Kiwassa Lake for lunch, fishing and a swim.Location is close enough to walk into town for dinner and shopping. My husband enjoyed a rainbow trout at the RiverTrail beer works. Host was on property and available to help us.」
