Yavanna at the front desk is very helpful and kind, as are the other employees. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and everything is immaculate since the recent renovation. It’s an easy walk to the downtown and ice arenas. We enjoyed our stay!

Did a solo trip and what a gem of a place. Recently renovated with amazing decor. Location was just off the main drag which meant parking is a breeze and no having to wade through downtown traffic. Easy to walk the entire main drag from the hotel. Adjacent restaurant also great food and service.

The owner was there and was very nice when we checked in. He was very knowledgeable about the hotel history what was fun to learn. Room was good, but there is no fan in the bathroom and the bathroom floor could have been cleaner. Mattress is very firm. The location is great! We walked downtown to go to the restaurants and wished we would have had more time.

The hotel was in the middle of a soft launch as they refurbished some of the rooms. Our room was quiet and comfortable! The bath towels were extravagant! The front desk, staff and manager went out of their way to answer our questions, give us referrals, and provide any help or assistance that we ask about. Loved this place! The restaurant was opened, and the food was delicious! The staff couldn’t do enough for us!

We would 100% stay here again! Not only were the rooms new, clean, and decorated beautifully, the location was also perfect. Walking distance to main street so we didn't have to worry about parking. We also had an emergency situation and the staff was absolutely amazing. They even went out of our way to give us a ride and extend our stay at last minute notice. Keith and his team are genuinely the best and make you feel like family as soon as you check in! I highly recommend this hotel

Outstanding experience—historic charm meets modern service Honestly, I'm so glad I stayed here. Even in the middle of a remodel, the experience was flawless. The check-in greeting was stellar, and they guided me past the construction straight to my floor. I love the touchless concept because the off-site/hybrid staff is so responsive—any text or call was answered immediately with total professionalism. The rooms are a perfect mix of modern updates and 1920s historic style. I am seriously impressed and will absolutely be back to see the final look!

1500 characters isn’t enough to detail the incredible experience we had here. The staff was just the best and beyond helpful in every way. They were very nice good people. The hotel was beautiful extremely clean. The rooms are set up with beautiful fixtures,floors draperies etc. Hats off to the decorators. Newly remodeled and they kept it very cozy for its age of 100 years old. The lobby was so welcoming with the original hard wood floors. Just beautiful. It has the old 1920’s vibe still alive but yet a tad modernized. Very classy hotel. A few little surprises await you. I won’t ruin them by listing them. I will definitely be back to visit the friends we made there. Thank you for the great hospitality and for the relaunching of a historic gem. One last thing I must add, what a spectacular view out of the windows looking at the Adirondacks. See you soon

What a surprise to find out that we were one of the first guests to stay at the Newly renovated St Moritz ! Parking was easy right in front of the hotel. We were greeted by the staff quickly and they had us set up in no time. The property is newly renovated…we were one of the first guests to arrive on their first official opening day…although we had no idea that was going to be the case. The team looked after us beautifully and the bell boys offered to carry our suitcases up to the 4th floor for us. Each level of this historical building had been preserved and we were in awe. Our room was bright l, modern, clean and exactly what we expected. FYI: there is a small elevator as well. They have a gorgeous sitting area on the main level that is cozy and inviting. Don’t miss out on a meal on the deck or in the restaurant, you’ll be happy you chose to eat there. Walking distance to the main streets for shops, restaurants and waterfront. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return again.

The hotel was beautiful but no hot tub yet not until 2027 staff was very kind and helpful if you like a very firm bed you will love it the only down side was we could not control the heat or air conditioner so room stayed at 77 degrees even with window open at around 40 degrees outside

I travel to Lake Placid a few times a year for work and have stayed at most of the hotels in town. This one stands out for the room quality and the ease of the experience. The touchless check in was efficient and the text based service was responsive whenever I had a question. The room itself is well put together. The finishes are nice + the bathroom is nice and the bed is comfortable. The mountain view is a nice bonus when you have a moment to sit and look out. The location is convenient for walking to restaurants and shops since it's incredibly central. I will likely stay here again on my next trip.

You really cannot beat the location here. I parked my car when I arrived and did not touch it again until I left. Everything is right there. I walked to dinner, walked to the lake, walked to the shops. It made the whole trip so much easier. The room was clean and comfortable and I had everything I needed. I also loved the little details in the room, and the bed was cozy enough that I did not want to get up in the morning. The staff was easy to reach by text for any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again just for how convenient it was.

The room was new, very nice, but small. The bathroom was nicely all new with luxurious towels. Keith was an excellent host, very helpful, getting us ice and carrying our bags down the exterior stairs. We appreciated free parking and enjoyed eating at the Redneck onsite restaurant.
