Grandview Lake Placid

"I understand this property has under gone a major upgrade. Everything was beautiful! Room clean, bed very comfortable, dining room has a huge fireplace and rustic feel. Views are amazing. Request a room facing the lake. Sadly we were on the back of the hotel looking at the HVAC system. Breakfast buffet was very good. We did not eat dinner at the hotel. Staff was very nice and even called me when they found the coat I accidentally left behind."

"It was the perfect up to date, modern, clean hotel room, right in the middle of Main Street. Very comfortable queen bed, very nice shower. Very easy, convenient , no hassle valet parking. I would come back here again and I would highly recommend it to other people. It was a great stay, great experience."

"Beautiful home with a perfect location!! The porch overlooking the town was so fun. At night you can sit on the porch and listen to the bands at the restaurant near by and have some drinks while you watch people walk by! Certainly a must stay!!"

"The place is clean, cozy, and spacious. I really like how it feels like home, especially with the amenities like the refrigerator, dining table, and dishwasher. The mattress was a little too soft for my preference, but that’s just personal preference since I usually prefer a medium-firm or firm mattress. My only concerns were the bathroom sink, which is very high. I’m 5'0", and the sink is almost up to my neck. Also, the top bathroom drawers are a little difficult to open because they snap down quickly and can pinch or hurt your fingers. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated how comfortable and homey the place felt."
