「South Shire is a beautiful place filled with history and character. The staff were wonderful; kind and attentive. They were welcoming to us and our pup throughout the stay. We were very happy with the quality of the mattress and linens as well as the ac being nice and cold on a very hot day (not always things you find in an older bed and breakfast.) We would absolutely stay here again. 」

「We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. The site is on the Hudson and has nice views. The onsite restaurant was great too! Shout out to Rachel behind the bar and Matt our waiter.」

「This is a lovely Inn that is as charming as its setting. An unexpected pleasure was the delicious food. I loved that you pick your breakfast time and food choice the day before. My only regret was not staying long enough to have each of the breakfast offerings. An added delight was dinner at the Inn. Definitely a 5 star experience. We ate there two nights - each meal choice was superb. Service matched the taste. An overall delightful experience, well worth the cost. I'm still dreaming about...

「We were in town for a horse show, and this property was the perfect location. What a cool spot! We all loved it, such a creative idea. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us! Comfortable beds, great water pressure, and everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay. If you happened to forget any toiletries, they were avaliable! Such a nice touch.
