Rooms were clean and staff was helpful, however, atmosphere felt like Section 8 housing. Smoking was done right outside my room and I was watched constantly by people from their rooms. There were no cars in the parking lot, but many arguments there during daylight hours. Not a comfortable place overall.

We arrived at the motor Inn. The motor Inn was clean and kept a little tired. There was two young ladies walking around outside looked a little confused. We went into the office and met a couple. Who’ve been waiting for five minutes. And happened to be going to the same wedding that we were going to. Finally after 10 to15 minutes, a young man showed up through a door. Took care of the couple in front of us. then handled our request gave us the keys for our room, which we have booked on Expedia for the autumn Inn. The autumn Inn had had some issues and could not honor our booking so send us to this motor Lodge. We entered our room and my wife complained about the scent that they always put in these rooms to cover something up. It looked clean. The bathroom needed some updating. But clean you can see that there was a shower leak. We got ready for our wedding and off we went. We got back about 9:30 pm . I started loading my pocket onto the bureau over the refrigerator and microwave. My wife was next to me at the desk. And saw something scattered. To her surprise, she flipped something over. I looked at it and I said that’s a roach and oriental roach. She killed it. I moved the alarm clock to look at it and sure enough there was another one. I killed that one. If I had seen more of that evening within the next five or 10 minutes. We would’ve packed it up and left. Next morning my wife got up to take a shower and behold she was killing roaches in the bathroom. We were out by 6:30.

Property was clean and off the beaten path. A little pricey for what it was and the beds could use replacing (not comfortable) but overall very clean and owners were nice. Close to good dining and convenient to our destination.

Check in was easy, desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Room was old-fashioned but comfortable. Walls were a bit thin; next door residents were loud and audible through the walls. Once they stopped, though, it was silent. Great area, easily accessible from highway. Good restaurants within walking distance. Affordable rate, definitely worth the stay! Would stay again if returning to the area!

Quite simply, i would stay there anytime southern vt has snow. Its right off highway and the place is clean. The old decor reminds me of grandmas house, but they mixed in a nice large tv for kicking back after a drive.

What a nice, vintage place - yet very clean and not shabby at all! I enjoyed sitting on the porch. A breakfast place is nearby. I thought being so old, there would be thin walls, but it was so quiet! The bed was comfy and the shower was so great, I took a picture of the shower head to get for home. I would definitely stay here again if in this part of Vermont.

Good affordable place, 1hr drive from Ski resort. It has microwave, fridge, easy to stay with kid. Only sink in the room which is missing in the bathroom, don’t get it, but it is ok. Good stay

Comfortable, cute and great value

It's not luxurious nor large, but for the price it's an excellent choice and we will be back. Super clean room and very comfortable. If you just need a nice place to rest your head and recover, this is a great choice. Congrats to owners.
