The property was very dated... run down fixtures,, bathrooms.. sink and bathtub missing large areas of grout.. they were discolored by age and usage and very unpleasing...We received no maid service for the 3 nights we were there..no fresh linens nor any fresh towels. The parking lot and entrance ramp are dated and full of holes and uneven pavement and in need of repair....Therefore.. a poor rating is being nice...

Nice people, comfy room!

We needed a room for four of us to get some sleep before getting out on the slopes the next day. Starlight Inn was perfectly located along our drive. The owners were lovely, seems to be a family owned business. The room was comfortable, clean, and nostalgic. Would stay again!

Very friendly receptionist, very welcoming! Room are clean which is great because I book last minute coming from other motel that was exceptional dirty so I’m very greatful for this friendliness and cleanses

Simple, clean and cozy. Owner was very helpful with my late check-in. Quiet location, dark skies and beautiful starlight. Maybe that is how they got their name!

The property was convenient, just a quick drive to get downtown and yet it was peaceful. There's The a nature trail almost across the road if you want to get some fresh air. The bed was a bit firmer than I would have preferred, but I still slept like a rock. It's certainly dated, but comfortably spacious and had what I wanted: a bed, a fridge, microwave, table and chairs, and a couple chairs outside the door to listen to the birds singing. I wou definitely consider staying here again.

It's quaint. It's quiet and I like that. My AC stopped working around midnight, but the windows were able to be open, so it wasn't stuffy.

Nice quite place to stay the night. No second floor, so there was no chance of being disturbed by people walking above you. Clean room, including the bathroom. I liked that it had a mini fridge so we could put food in it that we brought with us. There was also a separate freezer where I refroze my ice packs over night. Very handy. I didn't have any food to reheat, but if I had, the microwave would have come in handy. I did use the coffee pot for coffee in the morning. I took off a star because honestly, the bed could have been better. It creaked when you moved, and the mattress was kinda hard. My daughter thought the same. I slept on top of the comforter so I had more cushioning. I was tired, so I slept about 10 solid hours, then woke up to my back hurting a lot. I got up and took tylenol, and moving around making coffee helped relieve the stiffness in my back. The proprietors were nice people. I guess the motel is owned by a family. The price for the room was fair for my small travel budget. Overall I would recommend this motel for a short stay. Just bring a mattress topper if you have one, and maybe extra soft blankets to sleep on.
