「I've stayed at this hotel many times over the years (starting back in the 1990s), including before it became a Red Roof Inn (it used to be a "mom and pop" called the Herkimer Motel). It has always been well maintained, and its an affordable place to stay in the area, I use it as a jumping off point to go to Glimmerglass Opera and Cooperstown. 「The staff was attentive and helpful. The beds and bedding were comfortable, although an additional pillow on each bed would be nice since the pillows (4) were very soft. The bathroom had been renovated and was immaculate. Ample towels and toiletries were provided. I especially appreciated the excellent lighting throughout the rooms. The refrigerator and freezer were very efficient. The tv & remote worked well. Room security was good. The in-room coffee maker's directions couldn't be read...
