「Older home in what seemed like an iffy neighborhood (I have never been to Utica prior to this trip so do not know the areas at all just going by how it appeared to me). I took a chance on this new listing because it checked a lot of boxes. Two bedrooms, kitchen, competitively priced, not far from where we had to go for a sports tournament. A day or two before arrival I still had not received check in instructions so I messaged the host. He was quick to respond and the directions were...

「The property is a great find in Utica. Located on the main road, but quiet and peaceful. The beds were great, furniture was excellent, and plenty of room for the family. 」

「My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.」

「Our visit was in mid May and the area was lush and green. Including an assortment of waterfowl in the little pond in front of the cabin. Also used to train our young Labrador Retriever (the reason we were in the area). Turns out within a half hour drive there are several national caliber training grounds for the various retriever hunt disciplines. John our host couldn't have been more accommodating.
