Staff was very helpful, this is downhill from their main train station but the hotel has a shuttle service and will give a multi use bus pass to easily go uphill to the Grindelwald train station during your stay. The Lugano Dante hotel is a great hotel, the location can't be beaten, steps from the funicular and right by the city center, we walked everywhere. This hotel is very generous in terms of taking of customers, free drinks in room mini bar, coffee, espresso, apples, waters in the lobby, make one feel so much like home. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Switzerland (only behind the 5 stars hotel we stayed in Zurich), great selection with authentic Italian grilled veggies, cheeses, ham ,...

Hotel Spalentor offers a wonderful, well run place to stay in a perfect location for access to the old town or to get to the train station. Old school kind of place wheree they give you a physical key for your room but everything is clean as a whistle.

I have stayed in Geneva several times a year for many years, and found a new favorite here. The room - especially the bathroom! - was great; the front desk staff - especially Valentina! - was superlative; we loved the location; and we were delighted they were able to put us in our room right away when we arrived jet lagged at 9 am.

Hotel and service was excellent. Stayed for two nights and had a noisy party in the room in the late evening next to us the first night. When we reported the incident to the hotel, they took care of it and was very apologetic and responsive in following up with us.Overall, a very nice stay

This is an amazing hotel perfectly situated directly across from Grindelwald First. When I say directly across, I mean you can be at Grindelwald First in less than 5 mins. Less than that if you can walk a slight incline quickly.
You are also perfectly situated by the shops and restaurants!
The hotel is beautiful! The upgraded rooms are amazing and the amenities are to die for.
I had a single upgraded room that had a balcony facing the Wetterhorn. I would enjoy my coffee on the balcony each...

The room was really spacious and had an awesome lake view. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They give you a free bus pass to use during your stay. You get on right out front and it takes you to the city center or train station in about 15 minutes. Very easy and convenient. After a day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to our room, make some hot tea, and slip into a cozy robe and slippers. I also thought the price of the room was very reasonable considering how expensive...
