「We stayed in a room with the restaurant on top and every night after the restaurant shut down we could hear a ton of noises from them cleaning up for the night. We were right beside the elevator and a staff entrance (to smoke) so we were treated to loud noises in the early morning. After mentioning it to the front desk all they offered was a polite sorry」

「The rooms are nice and tidy. We met Liam, the hotel manager, and he was awesome. Incredibly hospitable. The hotel is very close to the train station and the commute to Glasgow was super easy and fast. Would recommend!」

「Front staff was kind of overall rooms are not maintained. The door to the room was falling off and had to be lifted to be able to close it. The TV remote is filthy. Main lobby looks nice. Breakfast was just ok」

「Great B&B. We were in Town for a Concert. Bed was comfortable and room clean. Breakfast was great. Would definitely use again. Parking was also helpful and we jumped on a Bus which stops right outside.」

「Overall good hotel. Location is good being close to the motorways. Hotel was clean and breakfast is good. Booked a superior room, didn't love that it looked onto the event loading area at the back, so would check location of room next time. On the negative side, guest Wi-Fi doesn't work in the rooms, but they did give us an alternative Wi-Fi to use once we highlighted this. Staff are nice but service could be elevated in line with a...

「The gal at the front desk was amazing, I’d only had three hours of sleep because I went to the Prodigy gig the night before and then I decided this was a decent place to crash for the night. I got in early and while I was willing to sleep in my car until time to check in, she went above and beyond to get me sorted. There was also a really lovely lady who was working on my floor doing housekeeping who I chatted with briefly. She told me to go in and get my head down, and was just so friendly....

「the room was clean and tidy .. the only thing was the room was very much warm during night.. to be honest we were not able to sleep at night because of warm.. the bath tub was not able to use as it had a faulty notice on it…」

「a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended.」

「Sandy and Cathy are the perfect hosts who just can’t do enough for you. They helped me find the cheapest deal, the best scotch pies and the best butcher to get all my bits to bring back home. They made me feel very welcome in their home and I even went to bingo with Cathy one day! Fantastic couple」
