It would’ve been helpful to have access to a refrigerator or drinking water. The staff did fill up my water bottle when asked and found a fan for my room. I think the breakfast could be £5 instead of £8 since it’s a continental breakfast. Our accommodations in Edinburgh spoiled us with access to all those amenities including free tea and coffee, and they didn’t charge us to store luggage. But the property was clean and comfortable.
The desk staff were helpful, patient and efficient. Security seemed adequate, and common areas were welcoming and well maintained. It is well situated for shopping, eating establishments, public transport, main line and subway trains.
The bunk beds were comfortable, and though the room was somewhat gloomy, I appreciated the individual lights and charging facilities.
Paying by card for a 50pence token for hot water seemed rather a waste, so I think tea, coffee and hot water should be available for all in the breakfast room, regardless of whether you pay for full breakfast.
Very quick and efficiently checked in at reception friendly helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable great value for money.

Not the hotel’s fault but development work is happening behind them so it’s a fully working building site at 7.15am - even on a Saturday so no chance to sleep in if you’re facing it.
Also struggling to know how the hotel doesn’t have drinking water in the room seeing as this is a major UK city.
Staff very helping and great location and in walking distance to everything in the centre.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked Safe Stay, but I am glad I did. Staff was friendly and the location was great for us. There are lots of shops (not just the high priced ones) and dining options around. It was fun walking down pedestrian street area.
I would stay at Safe Stay in Glasgow again.

Its in a great location. Rooms are spacious & staff was helpful and friendly.
Its a hostel, so you get it. But one of the nicer ones weve stayed at.
Stayed before and the location off Sauciehall street in Glasgow is great
Only downside is guests using mobile phones in dorms who shout when you try to sleep
