「When i got to the address it took a while 15 mins to locate the cabin, a local lady helped me find the sun-bleached signs by the entrance, she told me go straight back on the road and there it was. I could tell by looking around it was not clean. I cleaned the outhouse and swept the floor in the cabin. Overall it was quite and comfortable . Needs a table and chairs .Jerry」

「Our stay was great. We stayed 4 nights and the whole ordeal was just so easy and fun. The house is very clean and neat. It was nice for us older folks to have no steps or stairs! The host was great with communication and very timely! Quiet neighborhood and real great area. We would stay again if we get back to that area. 」

「The Castaway Resort was exactly what I was looking for. Quiet, clean and cozy. My views of Croton Dam Pond were fabulous and I even got to see some Baltimore Orioles. I went for a week of solitude to spend time weaving on my little workshop loom. I had the peace and quiet I needed to concentrate. The Hosts, Bob and Joy were 100% available and accommodating, and my sweet dog Poppy was completely welcomed. I would definitely return. I'm thinking maybe in the fall when kids are back in...
