After 10 minutes of banging on the door to an office, the disheveled owner came out in a dirty, stained polo shirt and sweat pants. Although I had prepaid for the room on Hotels.com, he insisted he had no room for me. After watching him struggle on an old laptop to find his reservations, he told me he could not refund what I had already paid, and didn't have a room. This junky motel should not be listed on Hotels.com"

"We highly recommend the Pleasant Lake Resort! Accommodations were perfect for our 3 generation family “Snow House” gathering. The hosts were very responsive & provided a clear & seamless check in/out process as well as recommendations for local businesses & activities. The accommodations were clean and well cared for. We were able to sled & skate on the lake and would love to return to enjoy the beach during the summer."
