「The outdoor property is very pretty, about 10 acres, lawn kept, I would see deer there every other day. The house is older and is need of updates, but it suited my needs. The house has no central air, but the 3 window units kept it cool enough, though it necessitated the use of a fan to keep the bathroom floor from getting slick when weather was very humid outside. The host, Claudia was very nice and always communicates promptly.」

「I'm not sure where my first review went. The picture of the rental is accurate however it does not depict a mattress that pretty much is on the floor. The floor is very wavy making you feel unsteady. The couch was also low and hard as a rock. The smith river behind the house is barely visibleThe worst part is the entry. 「Perfect spot for a weekend stay in Martinsville. Our black tie event was at the National Museum of History so this location was exactly what I needed. The salon for my hair and nails was in the same building. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed to prepare my vegan dishes. I hope it’s available every time I visit home. 」
