「The building smells like mold. We stayed one night to be closer to the cruise port. The first room had a very overpowering wet odor, we were placed in a different room which still had a moldy scent. It made a few members of my traveling party sick. We had to purchase mask to stay and sleep in the room. Very outdated property.」

「Ciel y Miel is a beautiful boutique eco-lodge, but it’s important to know what to expect. It’s located inside a national park, so the final road is dirt and very remote. You park at the lower entrance and the staff drives you to the rooms. Our first night was an adjustment after a long drive. The property was very quiet (we visited during the low season), and the jungle sounds took some getting used to. By morning, we realized how peaceful and beautiful it really was. Das ganze Personal ist unglaublich freundlich. Für ein paar entspannte Tage genau die richtige Umgebung.」
