ロケーションは最高。部屋の湿気がちょっと残念。

都会の喧騒から離れて自然の雄大さを感じることができ、とてもよかったです。ただ、レストランが1つしかないので食費がかさみました。雨季だったせいか、エアコンを使用しても天井や床が常に濡れており、部屋の湿気がかなり強かったのが残念です。

Gamboa Rainforest Reserve was an excellent place to stay and experience the wonders of the rainforest in Panama. Rooms were very clean and had all amenities as advertised. Pool was an excellent oasis after walks or fishing on the lake. Meals and customer service were also very good and many options were available.

Poor organization at this place. Booking is easy to do but when’s it’s time to head to the tour the workers do a poor job of getting people to their destinations.

The best part about this trip was the staff. We did a hotel takeover and it was amazing. The rooms were nice. Definitely humid but do-able. Alchol was really good for all inclusive. The food was hit-or-miss. The pool a was cool. We also did the the excursions as part of our all inclusive package. Overall I give it a 7/8 out of 10

This resort has so much potential but if they don't jump on it, the Gamboa will wither away. You can tell this was once (in the early 2000's) the IT PLACE to be. The views from the balcony are just perfect. But that is the only thing that is perfect. Once you're at the resort, you either have to have a rental or excursions planned to leave the property. There is NOTHING nearby. The town of Gamboa is a short walk, but they only have one store/restaurant that is not worth leaving the resort for. The resort itself has a few restaurants. They offer a very expensive meal package at $65 per person, per day. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Since we had no other options, we purchased the meal package. The food was average. Nothing to really brag about except for one day. I believe it was either a Monday or Tuesday lunch. The food was exceptional. I asked for some of the same rice that evening for dinner, but they said they didn't have any left over. The pool could be so much more than it is but it closes at 6pm because of 'bugs.' The only thing open is the bar and people walking around because there are NO activities going on after the pool closes. Its a little strange because the property is so large. They are not using this space to its full potential. The rooms and decor are stuck in 1999. You can clearly see that with a few changes and some fun activities that will bring couples and families to the property, it can regain its glory.

The grounds are well kept- a tropical paradise- and the building is beautiful. The food was also very good- lots of choices at the buffet. However, a large rowdy group arrived and music was blasting in the common areas which broke the magic of being in a remote rainforest. We are happy we had two good days before the noise began. Other guests were also disappointed with the sudden change in vibe. It is certainly not advertised as a “party hotel”.

it is located in an incredible location. I had a balcony with a river view. I could sit in the afternoon and watch a parade of birds, including toucans. Be aware that the location is not within a town, so you are only at this property for meals and snacks. Also, the property does not offer much assistance for transportation to and from the location. The nature is amazing though, and made my stay worthwhile!

We stayed at this resort about 9 years ago and enjoyed it. It has actually improved since then! It is a true birder's paradise. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with balconies that overlook the stunning grounds with all sort of trees and plants that attract birds. The staff is welcoming and accomodating. The waitresses at the Monkey Bar were patient with our bad Spanish (they all speak much better English). The free night time tour was very fun and there are so many cool hikes that you can walk to. In addition to birds we saw Geoffroy's tamarin (a small monkey), agouti, coati, and a lot of neat lizards.

Dated and run down generally. Both the rooms and common areas were in poor condition and not very clean. The room we were in had mould on the lamp shades and very tatty decor generally. The TV remote control was filthy and we didn’t touch it. The room had takeaway cups for coffee which is not very environmentally conscious. The buffet meal plan was basic and the supposedly hot food was mainly cold as the American tourists come in on mass, they lift off all the lids on the buffet hot food and leave them off

Very comfortable, excellent food and views. Don’t miss the beautiful Biblioteca (library) above the lobby. It’s a cool place to escape from heat and sun, hang out to read or play cards, and take in the really interesting history and photos of early Gamboa and canal construction. I also really appreciated the efforts the hotel makes to go green.

Das Zimmer war groß und sauber. Der Balkon mit schöner Aussicht vom 3.Stock aus. Riesiger,sauberer Pool.Gutes Frühstück gibt's auf der tollen Terrasse mit super Aussicht. Die Monkey Bar ein Stockwerk höher bietet Kaffee,Cocktails etc. mit moderaten Preisen.Wir sind mit dem Stadtbus c790 von albrook gefahren für 25cent die Strecke.Viele Vögel gibt's auf dem Gelände und im Dorf. Die Touren haben wir nicht gemacht, einfach zu teuer.Falls man ein Zimmer im 4.Stock bekommt kann man unter dem Dach Fledermäuse haben die alles vollscheißen. Ansonsten schöner Aufenthalt dort.

Being light sleepers, we had asked for a quiet room - as we always do when traveling - specifically one far from the elevator and floor entrance. We were told we would need to wait another hour because those rooms were not yet ready. When we finally received our keys, we were shocked to discover that our room was the very first one by the entrance and the closest to the elevator. To make matters worse, the lamp was missing a light bulb (which was fixed upon request), and the TV did not receive any signal until the morning of the third day. Ironically, the noisy air conditioner turned out to be a blessing - its constant hum served as white noise and helped mask the hallway sounds. It almost felt like sleeping on a plane near the engines. We did appreciate the dehumidifier, though you’ll need to empty the water tank every 5–6 hours. The highlight of the resort was undoubtedly the surrounding nature. We joined the 45-minute boat ride (US$45), which was well worth it. We saw an alligator, several species of monkeys and birds, and beautiful landscapes. We were especially lucky to spot a sloth happily hanging from a tree. That said, we would recommend joining the day tours rather than staying at the resort. In our view, it’s not worth spending three days there. Most staff members were friendly but appeared overworked. The facilities seem long past their prime - the gym was essentially abandoned, and the library consisted of old magazines and books left behind by previous guest
