「Just a nice place to be」

「The indoor and outdoor swimming pools were great, as well as the jacuzzi. The steam rooms and saunas were just like regular warm rooms but not hot enough I’m afraid, they were also too small and a bit of a let down so didn’t use them. The beds at the hotel rooms were squeaky, you can find much better quality bed at a Premier inn or Travelodge. For such an expensive place you also had poor wiring hanging from the TV and it didn’t feel as “premium” for the price you’re paying.」

「Always put in the VERY NOISEY front single 1 night stay. Terrible.Rooms are very tired need touch up on paint. Reception NEVER SMILE or say any welcome. Both reception men never introduced themselves. ( both had beards) I have stayed many times it just suits me as I can walk to my friends.」

「ホテルの方達はとても親切で優雅なひとときを過ごせました。 ただ、高級ホテルなのにエアコンがないこと（扇風機でした）、部屋に小型冷蔵庫がないことは少し残念でした。 家具ももう少し古城ホテルぽいといいのになあと思いました。 あとはチェックアウト時にカウンターに誰もおらず、出発が遅れてしまい、走って駅に向かいましたが電車を逃してしまいました。次の電車がCancelたったために、暑い駅で1時間以上待つことになってしまったので、チェックアウトの時間くらいはスタッフが対応できるようにしておいてほしいです。 場内はウサギやハトがいて、癒される空間でした。夜は満天の星空で、お城ステイとしては楽しかったです。」

「Stayed in the loft double room for 3 nights. The room is quite rustic and not massive. It did have an en-suite shower room. However, it does need some updating as the sink is cracked and the shower and tiling quite dated. Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was top notch, plentiful and extremely tasty.」

「The staff were friendly and helpful from start to finish. The room was brilliant - comfy bed, spacious bathroom and lovely touches with the coffee machine, guide book and homemade biscuits. Would stay here again when visiting Arundel.」

「The room was very clean and comfortable. The laundry service was not okay. They washed a white T shirts with a pair of blue jeans and the t shirts came to have blue color. Breakfast was very tasty. It is recommended to go to the dining early so that you can have a plenty of time to enjoy their foods and service. 」

「Staff were incredibly helpful and polite throughout our stay. Room was impeccably clean and breakfast was lovely. Only slight issue was staff were sometimes a little slow getting to us to order cooked breakfast meaning we had to miss out on the one day because we had an impatient toddler. We also had dinner on our first night and it was lush.」

「Came on a busy Saturday, could have done with more bar staff, bar area was too crowded with tables around it making access to the bar difficult. Did not dine there but food looked good, shame breakfast was not served but was directed to a cafe that served excellent breakfast. Our room was excellent but could have had a hook on the bathroom door.Had a great stay there. Thank you.」

「It was a blessing to stay for one night, and experience the personalised hospitality and generosity of spirit we encountered. The Beach House was on our ‘wish list’ and it was available - serendipitously. We noted and relished attentive interior decor, effective functionality that has been designed clearly from a guest’s perspective, and scrumptious food and refreshments. 「This old coaching inn is a wonderful mixture of old and new. Due to lots of steps it is not accessible for people who have mobility difficulties. The breakfast was cooked to order, which was really nice, and the service was good. The spa facilities are excellent and well worth a try. There's a great Italian restaurant just round the corner if you fancy a meal out too.」

「チチェスターの中心部にあって、立地条件的に便利ですが、スタッフのサービスが悪いのには驚かされました。同じ部屋に2泊したのですが、部屋の天井の電灯が点かないので替えて欲しい、ヘアドライヤーが備え付けられていないので貸して欲しい、などの注文を朝出かける前にしたときには、「わかりました。」という返事でしたが、夕方に帰ったら「申し訳ございませんが、目下、天井の電球を切らしておりまして、まだ取り替えられておりません。明日には必ず取り替えます。」とのこと。それに、部屋に入ったら、ヘアドライヤーもなく、ベッドも整えられておらず、前日使用したコーヒーカップも洗浄されておらず、タオルもそのまま、インスタントコーヒーやティーバッグ、お菓子などの補充もされていませんでした。朝食だけは満足できました。」

「Absolute heaven from beginning to end. Delightful staff, the most beautiful lawn to sit out on with a drink (and fire pits for the evening), great food, super comfortable room and amazing spa treatments. Best weekend away ever!」
