「Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. 」

「Loved atmosphere around old station, breakfast room and pullman dining car/accomodation」

「This is a first class boutique pub. Bedroom was lovely, quiet and comfortable. (Though there could be more shelving for toiletries).Restaurant provided an excellent range of evening meals and breakfast options to a very high standard. All staff were extremely polite」

「The hotel was beautiful and our room was large. We got here early and our room was ready but they asked for a £20 fee to go in early … we couldn’t understand that . Apart from that all was good . Nice continental breakfast.」

「My second stay here and it surpassed the high bar set by my previous stay. Got checked in by the manager who had just started there. I got a really nice room with a very high finish in décor which instantly put me in a relaxed mood. After finishing my admin, I went on the same 1 hour walk using the same route which takes me through the town centre. It is such a lovely town to walk around. The shower was amazing and allowed me to settle in for a great night's sleep. Breakfast was so much better...

「Very nice, huge golf-oriented hotel. Excellent facilities and spacious rooms for a family of four. Breakfast was mediocre but the rest was spot on for the price.」

「A lovely gem in the country. Great for walker. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room and it was sorted - no fuss. The food was excellent and great selection for breakfast. Well worth a visit. 👍」

「Everything was very good, food great, breakfast great, staff very helpful and friendly, room, bathroom and bedroom clean, warm and comfortable, pet friendly only thing we think £20 per dog per night is expensive, but other than that brilliant,」

「Stayed whilst riding Southdowns way (mtb). Bit of a detour (8k) but not to bad. Excellent large room. Great breakfast provided in-room and excellent Thai dinner. Very fresh and generous portions (set meal). Lovely and helpful staff.」

「The room was very clean and comfortable. The laundry service was not okay. They washed a white T shirts with a pair of blue jeans and the t shirts came to have blue color. Breakfast was very tasty. It is recommended to go to the dining early so that you can have a plenty of time to enjoy their foods and service. 」
