「My friend and I were looking for a base to explore the historic towns, houses and gardens of this area, and struck lucky with this hotel. We were impressed by the pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, the quality of the food, the variety of dining and bar areas and the comfortable, well-maintained and quiet rooms (no audible traffic noise). Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended. 」

「The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. The room was called a Snug and "Snug" it certainly was. Just about ok for 1 or 2 nights but for longer stays get a bigger room.」

「Business trip for one night. Room was comfortable, breakfast was great. However, the best part was when I desperately needed to work and print some documents ready for a presentation, I was having a terrible time getting everything to work. Member of staff on duty Patricia looked after me amazingly, coffee, helped me find cable etc....above and beyond, excellent service, thank you Patricia for turning a bad day into a better one !」
