"This West Bay resort is centrally located on a gorgeous stretch of beach. The restaurant on site has daily food and drink specials. The included breakfast was good. (Choice of ham and cheese omlette, two eggs with your choice of meat, fruit bowl, pancakes or traditional Honduran breakfast). Coffee, tea and juice included. We had room 4 which is one of the cottages behind the dive shop. It was clean and had two comfy queen size beds. The bathroom is small but fine. Lack of Water pressure in the shower was the only slight complaint but we managed. You can vaugely hear the clanging of the dive tanks starting around 7 am but it wasn’t too bad. The room had a cute porch with two chairs and a hammock. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. And a huge jug (20 Litres at least!) of bottled water. The beach in front of the resort has the boats coming and going. Ample beach chairs for guests. Beach towels are provided. The dive shop was great. I dove with them 5 times! Amazing team. "

"Our stay Las Verandas was an incredible experience! My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and feel like we hit the jackpot. The property is located on a private road and away from the main tourist areas, but only a 30 minute ride to places like West End or Mohagany Bay if you’re looking for a fun night out. It was really nice to have the option to go out and socialize in town but then come back to the sounds of crashing waves and native birds. A true oasis. The property is gorgeous and well-maintained, the rooms are stunning with high-end amenities, comfortable bedding and mattresses, amazing pool options, and an awesome restaurant! But the best part of our stay was the staff. Everywhere we went on the property, staff went out of their way to check on us, speak to us, and give us recommendations for things to do on our first trip to Roatan. I can’t wait to return and actually check out these recommendations, but for this trip we were so content with the service and luxury of Las Verandas that we hardly left the property. I am already looking into booking our next stay later this year. Do not miss your chance to stay at Las Verandas! "

"My friend and I were here and couldn’t have been more pleased with Blue Bahia. Mostly the staff being so incredibly friendly, accommodating, attentive and full of great information. The grounds are kept well and our condo was clean and had everything we needed. If we needed anything, it just took a quick message and they were on it. We attended a wedding at a much more expensive resort on the island and the staff there couldn’t compare to Blue Bahia. Thank you so much for such a fun stay, we truly felt like a part of the community after we left. "

These are some of the best beaches in the world and the resort Couldn’t be better. I think many Americans that come down here don’t get the beauty and amazing opportunity to be in this location!!!"
