We were blown away by our upgrade to the Ocean One Villa condo's!! The place was perfect with friendly staff and amenities. The pool at the Villas was a welcomed surprise. Peacefully tucked away yet only a short walk to the beach, the main hotel and restaurant made it a perfect location. The bar right on the beach was spectacular. I highly recommend this place!

The room was very clean and cleaned regularly every morning. Staff were extremely friendly and always made us feel welcome. Security at the entrance were very friendly and helpful to us as well. Check-in and checkout went very smooth and quick. The rooms are very basic. Both the rooms and the bathroom could use an update. Regardless, they were always clean. Beds were very comfortable. We found the drinks at the hotel to be expensive compared to other nearby spots. There really wasn’t any drink service around the pool area. The beach area was very nice and never had a problem getting a chair.

This is not the place to stay if you are looking to relax. Here is a list of issues I had that made me check out after 1 night; 1.) Incredibly loud! I went diving in the morning and wanted to take a nap and the plaza next door was blasting music non-stop all day long. Then at night Banarama was blasting drunk karaoke until 10pm. The following morning at 6am the plaza next door was blasting music again. The workers arriving at 6am were yelling back and forth to each other down the alley. Finally at 7am the construction noise started! 2. Damp hotel room, horrible broken shower, apparently you can't flush toilet paper, and the tv is all fuzzy Spanish channels. Now you may think "I'm not going to watch tv on vacation"....well there will be rainy days, you will want to chill out at night, and you will want something to drown out all the noise around the resort. 3. Rude bartender....the workers need to be told that although people cannot speak Spanish fluently they are able to understand it. I heard one of the bartenders repeatedly refer to another guest as "puta" which if you know even a little Spanish is not a very nice thing to say. The front desk said they would try to move me to another room, but I didn't want to stay there any longer and went back to my much better hotel in West End

Paradise Beach was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The room(honeymoon suite) was clean and comfortable with a huge balcony that came in handy during some rainstorms. The cleaning staff was efficient and kept the room super clean throughout our stay! There was a fantastic breakfast buffet each morning with different things to try each day. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. We enjoyed the beach and the snorkeling was just a quick walk away! There were plenty of places to eat and drink nearby when we wanted some variety. The cruise passenger invasions during the day were a bit overwhelming, but the good news is, the leave every afternoon! Great stay!

Our stay at Paradise was overall amazing. Pros: The beach was stunning, the property grounds are beautifully maintained and our suite was spacious, quiet and private. Everything was impeccably clean. Not a speck of dust was present. Joel provided excellent service at breakfast. Marvin and Adeli took incredible care of us on the beach. We couldn’t ask for better service. The beach was bustling, but sitting in our beach chairs in the guest section, we were totally relaxed and we felt completely secure leaving our belongings while we snorkeled and swam. The snorkeling right down the beach is the best I have ever experienced - acres of reef and the beach in front of the hotel is white sand and the perfect depth for floating around. Cons: The property is overdue for a remodel (bathroom/shower especially) and the food could be much improved. Everything at breakfast was both over salted and lacking in flavor and the beach restaurant was nothing to write home about. Overall we recommend this resort because the location is perfect, our room was spacious and clean and the hospitality was excellent.

The staff was friendly, but the hotel is a safety hazard. There is stone all throughout the perimeter of the pool, with slippery wood in some parts. The staff could have done a better job announcing whatever events the hotel was holding - they were not as inviting as the surrounding hotels. Our room smelled like sewer water and the water coming out of the sink smelled like that too. Luckily the water that came out of the shower was okay, so that’s what we used to wash our hands and brush our teeth. Though we will return to Roatan, it will not be to this hotel.

The room smelled like sewer. We had to move rooms 3 times. we got horrible service, it was not paradise now anything close so we would like a refund.
