Hotel Villa Bahia is beautiful! It is an old mansion that's been renovated and turned into a hotel. We stayed in the "Cochin" room (all the rooms have names instead of numbers and come with old fashioned keys/locks that are most likely original). The room is basically a duplex suite. On the first floor, you walk into the sitting room with a tv, then there's the bedroom with an open air bathroom. Walk distance to the balsa, great hospitality and great housekeeping. The property is located on a beautiful beach. We highly recommend. Any questions, just ask Cristiano, he will take care of all your needs. Make sure you take plenty of sunscreen. Bahia's sun is pretty powerful.

Great place to stay!

We just returned from a ten day stay at the Monte Pascoal. We had a full ocean view with a lovely balcony. We slept very well with the great air conditioning in a room that was basic but clean and comfortable. Always hot water and good water pressure. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Staff couldn't have been nicer. We took advantage of the World Cup amenities and several nearby bars and restaurants. Price was definitely high, because of the World Cup but overall we were very happy. ...

My stay at Village Paraíso in Morro de São Paulo was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautifully located, surrounded by nature and just a short walk from the beach, creating the perfect balance between relaxation and convenience. I had an amazing stay here. The staff is amazing! The property is beautiful. The rooms are good, nothing too fancy. The breakfast was excellent, with so much variety. It's in a nice area; there's a bus stop and lots of shops nearby. The only issue I had was with ubers canceling all the time because the hotel is on a one-way street making it more difficult to get to. Also, I wanted to do laundry thinking there would be a self service laundry room, but it's actually a service they offer for crazy...
