"We had never been to Death Valley before and were anxious to see a few of the selected sights we found intriguing. We were not disappointed and despite having windy conditions we still managed to visit all of the locations we had selected. We stayed at the “The Inn at Death Valley” and there simply isn’t any competition in the area that would hold prices down a bit. It was a comfortable room that needed some upgrades; but not many. The shower and pool towels lacked absorbency and comfort and they were quite harsh next to your body. There was not daily room maintenance service so when we came back from a day of hiking we were a bit disappointed that the bed had not been made and the towels replaced. The dining room food and service were quite good. Reservations a MUST! Many people flew into Las Vegas, where choices for rooms were plentiful, and then drove two hours into Death Valley. We played tennis and swam in the pool and that was wonderful. "

"This place leaves a lot to be desired for what you pay. Yeah,it's inside Death Valley NP, but that's no excuse for the pathetic room accommodations. You could find better furniture at an estate sale in a trailer park. The Wi-Fi is marginal at best. And the bar is only beer and wine. No cocktails. I don't consider it a bar if it doesn't serve cocktails. If you don't want beer or wine, stock up on your own booze before arriving here. "

"The check in process is very very slow and troublesome. It should be more efficient. They should prepare things in advance since I have a reservation. They have a break without staffs. I have to wait over 30 minutes before I can check in. It is terrible. I cannot locate the room that they assigned me. "
