However, Leon was very accommodating and quickly found us a suitable substitute! The mattresses and bedding were great, and the water pressure in the showers was wonderful. "We love Longstreet. The only problem was the clouds, which were pretty, but we were hoping to see a meteor shower in the dark skies of Death Valley. It's not the newest place, and some would call it kitschy, but it's a standalone place on the edge of nowhere. It's clean and safe, the restaurant has a smaller menu but the food is good and reasonably priced, they have a bar, a small casino, a pond, a pool, a hot tub, a little store that's open 24hrs, so basically, everything your need. Look at this place on Google maps satellite image... it's the only thing there. Either you're looking for that, or you're not."

"The Ranch was really nice and is well maintained. The bed and pillows we’re comfortable and their generous with their shampoo and conditioners. The downside their food in their general store we’re really pricey. We didn’t go to their breakfast and dinner since everything is expensive. I just wish we brought our own food before we got there."
