"Truly one of the most special places in the world, no place like it. Incredible setting, delicious food and top attention to detail. Patrick and Lamla (spelling?) were terrific and looked after us like family, even driving out to buy me some zamaleks when the hotel didnt stock it. Rooms are spotless and attention to detail terrif. Chef's Warehouse restaurant is a must. This was our second visit in a year and cannot wait to come back again. Very highly recommend it. "

The Grey Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Clean and friendly hotel in a safe neighbourhood. Room was small but stylish and comfortable, with a great balcony enjoying the afternoon sun and views of Table Mountain. Rooftop bar is cool but the drinks menu in the room doesn't match what they actually have and if you have any movement restrictions you will never get up the spiral staircase! Breakfast was very poor so better to eat out, there are several lovely cafes within 2 minutes walk. Also evening eateries very close and safe to walk to. Overall though very good value and I enjoyed my stay."
