"We have stayed here many times in the past and always loved it, which is why this review makes me sad to write. Every time I visit Puerto Rico, this is the only place I stay. Unfortunately, from what I understand, there is new ownership and the quality of service seems to have declined. The gentleman who checked us in was kind and helpful, but when we arrived at the villa around 8 PM, the front desk was already closed. The villa had not been cleaned properly. There were ants everywhere, including on the bed, and cereal scattered across the floor as if it had not been vacuumed. Since the office was closed, there was no one available to help. The next morning at breakfast, a staff member greeted us with attitude and immediately said, “This is what we have. We don’t make anything else special,” even though we had not asked for anything special. We also were not offered drinks until we asked. When I tried bringing up concerns about the room, she was on speakerphone discussing antibiotics with her doctor, which felt unprofessional. Later that evening, I stopped by around 7:15 PM to buy water, not realizing the front desk closed at 7 since salsa classes were still happening. The same employee scoffed when I asked. Because of these interactions, we chose not to return for breakfast or try the restaurant again. Our flight was at midnight, so we dropped off our keys around 6:30 PM and were told to leave the villa open afterward since no staff would be there later. I have more"

"Overall space was good. Room itself was quite nice - bed very comfortable and bathroom was great. But it seems other occupants at this site are not respectful of public space in kitchen. When I tried to use my designated area in the refrigerator it was literally filled to hilt with no space for my use. I had to take my provisions to my assigned room for storage. I gathered that from the big party they had last night, the provisions were purchased for this scenario. I did not reach out to anyone to discuss this issue as I was in Puerto Rico for personal family matters and asked my wife to look at lodgings for my limited visit and was disappointed that this took place. Not sure who needs to reiterate to other occupants that public space is SHARED in the refrigerator. Thank you."

"Everything was fantastic! Alex Vega made sure our stay was super comfortable and kept up the refreshments while my wife and I were poolside. Alondra and Moises made sure our dinner service went smoothly and took excellent care of us. My wife is local to Aguadilla and we had such a beautiful time here <3 room was fairly priced, kept clean and refreshed by cleaning staff, the free breakfast is limited but good, however, you can order hot breakfast food (eggs, bacon, pancake, toast, etc.) if you’re not feeling like having avena (oatmeal) or farina (cream of wheat). The pool was fun, even if it got a bit crowded at times, it was super lively and nobody bothered our belongings while we were out. The live music was fun and engaging. Now I know there are kid friendly activities here, however, the resort isn’t centered around children, so don’t expect to keep your kid too entertained here aside from the pool. This place is more for adults and couples who can appreciate a nice view, cheap drinks, good food, and positive atmosphere. It’s also not wheelchair accessible and no elevators on-site. Please save your expectations and complaints for somewhere else and just do your research before booking just to complain. Literally every negative review I’ve seen here are from clearly entitled people who set expectations for a Hilton or some other big chain resort. As an American who came from a humble background, and a wife who’s local to Aguadilla, so if you respect the culture, you’re okay!"
