"Quick overnight stay at this Hilton near SFO before next morning flight overseas. Lobby could use some updating and digital key did not work when we got to our room, so had to trek back down to front desk, but otherwise room was spacious and bed was comfortable. "

"The kids and I stayed for 2 nights. The hotel was located in a quiet neighborhood which my kids and I appreciated. The complimentary breakfast was decent enough too (they rotated hot foods on the 2 mornings that we ate). A minor nitpick regarding the breakfast was the oatmeal (it was in packages - instead of being freshly made which I prefer). The daily room rate was excellent too (especially in the Bay Area). We are out of town visitors and the hotel is close enough to San Francisco (about a 30 minute drive). The room was decent enough as well. One minor nitpick regarding the room was the dimness of the lights in the room especially in the evenings. There were 3 desk lamps located throughout the layout of the room. I was sleeping on the bed nearest the air conditioner/window, and I was attempting to read a book at night on my bed. Since the lighting was dimmed in the room in the evenings, I had to read the book on the edge of the bed sitting next to the desk lamp located on a stand between the 2 queen beds. There wasn’t enough lighting in the room to read the book or read the news on the tablet in the middle of the bed. Perhaps installing 1 or 2 ceiling lights to brighten up the room so that it is easier to read a book or read the news on a tablet in the middle of the bed in the evenings might be a good idea… Overall, it was a nice stay with an excellent hotel daily rate. Will be one of my go to places to stay in the Bay Area in the future…"

"I was calling from 6.30 am and was told to call back at 9am. I was not spending the night so I was requesting an early check in. I was pushed from agent to another. I was also told early check in’s are not guaranteed which I completely understand but I had no help from anyone. An agent called niaomi just forwarded my call and then I talked to Rodrigo who was helpful but I was put on hold for 25 mint. Then called back at 10.30 and canceled my reservation which I was put through the front desk immediately. I had a very important zoom to make and had to do it in a parking lot. I ended up booking a day room in aloft hotel who were extremely accommodating. I’m absolutely demand a refund for the room. I have never experienced such incompetence from embassy suites "

"I had such high hopes for this hotel it had great reviews and from the pictures it looked cute. There was no employees on the premises when we were there. We spoke to a "front desk" employee through a kiosk that was like a zoom call and there was a terrible lag to it so communication was extremely hard. Our room was missing washrags, shampoo/ conditioner and body wash. The toilet stopped working thankfully my husband was able to fix it. And the room wasn't that clean. unfortunately Very disappointed ☹️"

"Nice place for a weeklong stay. Not too far from everything San Mateo but def need a car. Parking on the street can be challenging. I appreciated the full stove, though I didn't really need it. I would stay again."
