"We had so much fun staying at this resort, and we saw the most variety of wildlife from our room & throughout the property, than we have on our other vacations!!! "
"Food quality was not the best, rooms are outdated but they service them every day. I did enjoy my stay there with my family. People are great over there. "

"Everything in Costa Rica takes some driving time. Don’t let the 1:20min drive from the airport discourage you.
Buffet food is okay.
Restaurants are good. Try the tuna tartare.
Area around the resort is busy and industrial.
Don’t waste your time driving around for souvenirs. There are no shops. The gift shop has average to low prices. Ask for coupons at check in. 10% off helps when you buy everything at once.
Airport has nice souvenirs if you don’t want to hassle during your trip, but it will probably be 20% higher. Buy your souvenirs during your excursions.

Rooms are okay, but cleaned daily.
Rent a car and explore. We traveled to Monteverde, Waterfalls, Jaco…at our own pace.
Want to see monkeys, go to playa Manta.
The entertainment at the resort is hilarious. They’re interactive and remember your name.
I would go back. It’s mostly a locals place, but if you want to swim, drink, eat, and laugh you’ll have a good time. They do offer things to do and eat till 130-2am.
I would go back, and see the Volcano. During our stay the roads were not passable.
8 out of 10 for me.
The value $ was amazing."
"Spectacular ocean view! Modern and competitive hotel. Easily out performs hotels in Jaco. Staff service and professionalism is on par or better than well known hotel chains."

"The hotel in general was great, well kept, clean, with lots of amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful, went out of their way to help me with my questions. There are complimentary transportation services I didn’t expect. My room was upgraded without me asking for anything. It was an overall great experience "

"Wow! This was the perfect hotel. Staff in the hotel and restaurant were fantastic and friendly. Kevin cooked up some tuna we caught on the boat and it was excellent. Also the food at the restaurant was very good. You must try the soup!!
The hanging bridge tour is a must do and free. Saw sunrises and sunsets. So many common viewing areas! Having the golf carts take you up the steepest part of the mountain is great too. Lots of really good restaurants nearby.
Can’t wait to go back!"
