What a gem! from a warm welcome at check in to checkout Tityra lodge was a oasis in the mountains. We stayed as a family of four and and two bedrooms. The lodge was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and although small there was plenty of choice. They even remembered my wife’s allergy which was mentioned at check in and highlighted unsuitable foods. We used the hot tub which was a lovely treat. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around the boundary trail. It is a car drive from monteverde so would recommend if you have a car.

This was the most amazing place in Monte Verde, the aesthetic vibes and energy that please gives off is just fantastic. I would 100% stay here again and the breakfast was delicious. I loved how they have an amazing view and their own little nature walk in their backyard basically. I love how they incorporated in adventure getaway with providing a robe that was extremely soft and slippers that made it feel like a resort. I also enjoyed and appreciated when they provided blankets. Not many places do that so I was able to get cozy and to watch TV as well as providing water in the fridge and a spot to make a coffee. The bed was super comfortable. It was not like other hotels that I have stayed in while in Costa Rica, where the bed was just super uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when moving. I would for sure recommend this place to my friends and family and anyone reading this message.

Stayed one night at Tityra Lodge, Monteverde, and it was a lovely experience. The property is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, making it a perfect spot to relax after exploring the area. The stay itself was comfortable and the highlight was definitely the delicious breakfast in the morning. Even though it was just a short stay, it was memorable and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Monteverde.

Loved that we stayed here. Lovely staff, unique comfortable rooms. Quiet and in nature. Best breakfast we have during our 14 days in Costa Rica. Helpful for luggage storage after we checked out. And great coffee! Mucho Gracias!

Das zimmer war schön und gros wie versprochen. Es gab sowohl heizung als auch klimaanlage welche wir auch beide brauchten. Das bad war etwas dunkel aber ok. Die fensterfront mit aussicht das highlight. Was man sich gewünscht hätte wären mehr vorhänge gewesen da es ab halb 6 tag hell war. Frühstück war ausgezeichnet.

Lovely family cabin, lovely grounds to go hike on, simple but amazing breakfast. Beds were comfy, the cabin fit my family of 5: 2 adults, 3 kids under age 10. Only a few minutes drive into the main town of Monteverde, where you will find restaurants, stores, mercados, farmacias and more.

Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa. A propriedade é linda e os chalés e bangalôs estão perfeitamente integrados à natureza. O bangalô em que fiquei tinha instalações simples mas muito confortáveis, com uma vista fenomenal. Café da manhã muito bom.

Beautiful property! Our room was wonderful. Comfy beds and pillows, lovely robes and slippers and the view from our porch was amazing. The breakfasts were great and as vegetarians we had lots of choices which was appreciated. The staff was so helpful and friendly.

We loved our peaceful and tranquil stay for 3 nights in December. We enjoyes walking around the properties grounds which has walking trails that go through the coffee /other fruit farms. We also saw several animals during by our walks! The breakfast, which was complimentary, was our favorite part of the days! Freshly made hot CR breakfast with eggs, variety of perfectly ripped fruit, fresh juice, coffee, and a variety of freshly made breads and pastries. Each day was a little different in what was offered but always several selections and very good. The staff are all very welcoming and the owner was present during breakfast to ask if we wish to have room keeping. The location is a little out of the main part of town. If you have a car, no problems but i would not recommend walking to town at night from hotel. We would absolutely stay with tityra lodge again! Pura Vida amigos.
