"Fabulous stay in a lovely lodge within the grounds of the Cathedral! Originally built for visiting priests about 20 years ago, and then opened to the general public. The rooms are lovely, quiet and comfortable. Exceptionally clean. Service was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is included and table service and delicious. Value is excellent. I wished we'd stayed longer!"

"We have a lovely time. The hotel was perfectly central with everything on the doorstep. The staff were welcoming and the room was spotless and comfty. Our room did experience noise from outside, which we think was an air conditioning unit, but it didn't affect our overall enjoyment. "

"A lovely old mansion house with plenty of character. We were gory enough to stay in one of the renovated bedrooms which was spacious and clean. Some of the areas of the hotel required modernising and updating but I imagine this was part of the current works. Food was tasty and the grounds well-kept. We would happily return."
