"The house was fantastic and Liz and Richard were great hosts. The house is on a private estate and a short walk from the sea across a golf course. Sandwich is a very attractive old town but shops, pubs and restaurants seem to be locked in a 1970's time warp."

"I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....

"Such a peaceful place. The owners were delightful. The property is at the very top of a hill and the drive is very narrow with parking on both sides. A real skills test of your driving. But the stay is worth it. Breakfast by a panoramic window looking down on the city was great. Large split bathroom with spa type shower was the greatest luxury of the room. Would stay there again."
