"The room was OK. It wasn’t the biggest, but we made the best out of it. I feel like the bathroom was a little outdated, but overall the hotel staff were very good and accommodating."

"The area that the hotel is in is not the safest. Men hang around the elevator entrance that takes you below ground level to where the front doors are. After being followed home the first night, we asked if security could walk us from our uber to the entrance, to which they happily obliged. Unfortunately, the last night I called again to ask if we could be walked home and a new receptionist answered the phone and said they do not do that for customers. So me and my friend (two 20 year old girls) had to walk to the hotel entrance alone at night surrounded by the people that hang around outside of the metro. I would’ve given OKKO a way better review if they hadn’t refused to help us the last night of our stay. Obviously my safety isn’t “to the upmost importance” to them as they had previously told me. "

"The rooms are good but I felt hot inside the rooms maybe some additional temperatures settings were required. Hopefully next time, the host could assist me with these instructions. Overall a great and budget friendly property."

"Our room stank of mildew. My husband thinks it was the seal on the shower. We had been traveling quite a bit and my watch had automatically changed every time we changed a time zone. Apparently this time it did not. We paid for breakfast the next morning and got up and went down at what we thought was 9:30. Turns out it was 10:30. We explained what happened to the front staff and even showed them my watch. We asked if they would apply the breakfast we had missed out on to the next day and they refused. It wouldn’t have cost them anything but no, they would not. Our room was hot. We had to go down and get extra pillows. I asked for ice as I gave a knee injury and was told I could go to the restaurant and ask them myself. Everywhere else we stayed and asked pillows were brought to us as well as the ice. It just wasn’t a very friendly or hospitable place. We also felt nickeled and dimed. We asked for something, I can’t remember now what it was but they said it would be extra. We asked for help to get a taxi from the airport to their hotel and they would get it for us but it turned out to be almost twice the rate! (They said $95 and we paid $52 including the tip!). We got it ourselves. They also lock the doors and you have to ring a bell or use your card. It made us feel we were in an unsafe area and was nerve-racking."
