Libertel Gare Du Nord Suede

"Located near both Gare du Nord and Gare l'est, this hotel is convenient to the RER B for travel to and from CDG, and to a number of Metro, RER and bus lines for travel around Paris. Our room had two small beds, rather than one double bed, which was unexpected (but perhaps we didn't read the details when booking). The hallway and stairwell was almost always akin to a sauna, but the lobby was comfortable and our room had AC: its lowest setting was 21C, which cooled the room enough when the outdoor temperature was in the upper 20s. The bathroom was split into two parts: one with a toilet and the other with shower and sink. The small refrigerator was nice to have but didn't seem to chill drinks to American standards (perhaps we overlooked a setting). However, this did allow us to purchase food and beverages from a (very) small Aldi across the street and keep them somewhat cool for a day or two. We were on the first floor and could hear street noise, but it wasn't particularly bothersome. Breakfast was offered, but we did not purchase it. A boulangerie is one block away and there are many cafes and bistros within walking distance, as well as the aforementioned Aldi. We wouldn't mind staying here again, especially if we needed lodging in close proximity to Gare du Nord. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived a couple hours prior to the published check-in time,"

"This was a fantastic hotel and absolutely lived up to the hype of a 5-star hotel. My fiancée and I stayed here to celebrate our engagement and had an incredible time. The amenities are what stood out the most, and we had a private thermal spa experience at a fraction of the price. With its central location, metro right outside the front doors, and a safe and secure hotel with very welcoming and polite staff—there is not much more you could ask for. The gym was very simple; that may be the only feedback we would have. Highly recommend your stay here for a memorable trip!"

"Clean room, air conditioning, and clean hotel all in all. A bit dodgy neighbourhood so i suggest doing ubers if going back at night. Great value for money. I just didn’t like that we had to wait for 2 hours to get inside the room when we are already late for the checkin time. the lady at the front desk even told us that it is because we just got there thats why they are just cleaning the room. They make up for it though by giving us delicious pizza. So id still recommend. Love the view of that Sacre Couer Basilica!"

"I had a corner room on the 2nd floor that had a small balcony overlooking a restaurant and the street. The room was quiet, designed well, and generally comfortable. The room was a bit small, but for Paris, this is to be expected. The toilet had its own separate closet with small sink. The shower and main sink were separated from the bedroom by a glass wall - not an issue for me since I was traveling solo, only sharing in case 2 people are traveling together and need privacy. The only tourist site nearby is the Pere Lachaise Cemetary, the largest and most visited cemetery in the world started in 1804 by Napoleon. It’s worth 2-3 hours of time to tour some of it, and the location is maybe a 15 (?) minute walk from the hotel. The best thing about this hotel’s location is that it’s in a true Parisian neighborhood, so if someone is interested in staying in a place to get a feel for real Paris life, this hotel accomplishes that."

"We enjoyed our three-day stay at the Villa Montmartre. The location was excellent - a five minute walk to Sacre Coeur and 10-15 minutes from the shops at Montmartre. After a bit of initial confusion we were able to get instructions for our after-hours check-in. The apartment was spacious, if a bit bare, and was all we needed for our stay. We were a bit apprehensive after reading a few reviews that complained of bedbugs, but we did a thorough inspection and our room was free of them. I would recommend without hesitation."
