California Surf Museum

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The shower had a large gap in the door, causing water to leak all over the bathroom floor and outside the bathroom entrance every time it was used. We had to call every day for extra towels just to clean up the water. While staff provided towels, no one ever acknowledged the issue or offered even a simple apology for the inconvenience. It seemed like this was a known problem, yet it was never mentioned or addressed during our stay. Additionally, the room lacked a main overhead light, so the only lighting came from a few wall lamps, making the room feel quite dark. Parking was another frustration. At $40 per night, I expected a more convenient experience, but parking was extremely limited and often difficult to find. Overall, while the hotel had some positives, the lack of attention to guest concerns, poor communication, and additional parking expense made the stay feel less enjoyable than expected.

I loved the everything about the property except being blindsided with a $70 a night charge fo parking which I think is excessive and should have been made known in advance.

Location was perfect, friendly staff, busy building for entertaining other companies parties, some nights they were loud with music. Beautiful pool ans hot tub.
