"Our host Jenny was brilliant.
There had been some kind of miscommunication on the booking, where other hosts would have created an issue, Jenny welcomed us and all was well.
The property is very homely, in a very nice rural location, parking is within the farm, safe and secure.
Jenny's team / family are all very welcoming and happy to help.
Great place to stay if you're riding a motorbike, or wanting to visit Thruxton.

Maintenance staff were fantastic. Cleaning staff great. Bar staff friendly.

"This was a charming pub and inn. The rooms are small but cozy, very clean, and very comfortable. It felt like staying in a story book English inn and we loved it! We stayed there to tour Highclere Castle and the Bombay Sapphire distillery, and it was well-located for both. There is good, free parking and a nice breakfast. "

The service was excellent and the food was very good. The bedroom was very comfortable with a lovely view. However, the lighting was very subdued which is relaxing but it would have been useful to have more efficient reading lamps. The breakfast bar was good but it would have been nice to have a selection of nuts and seeds and full fat natural yoghurt.
