"Check in and check out were great, staff was very friendly. We were asked what floor and side of the hotel we wanted which was nice because we were able to choose a room with a view of the Mackinac Bridge. Our room was clean and fully stocked when we got there. Good size fridge in the room with a microwave. There was not a “do not disturb” sign to put out so our room got cleaned during our stay, although it wasn’t a thorough cleaning which is fine. Beds were uncomfortable for me personally, I did not sleep well, but some people may prefer a stiffer mattress. The location is awesome since it’s right near shopping and restaurants, and for us it was perfect being right by the rail trail so we could bike right from there. It is closer to Sheplers ferry if that is important for anyone going to the island. We used Star Line so we had a further bike ride to the ferry, but you can get there using the rail trail most of the way. The price for the room was fantastic, but it definitely fluctuates throughout the season. Breakfast offered was your standard continental and also featured some hot items, I was very happy with the options. Overall loved our stay and hope to stay here again!"

"For those who know me on this website, you know how I am really difficult to impress. Well this Hotel GOT ME. Even more at the price I paid. The hotel may be a little outside the Mackinaw city, but the distance worth the advantage. We had a wonderful spacious room, plenty of spaces, with balcony, view to the beach. The staff was friendly and informative, made sure we were fine, even offer to set up food service if needed, despite the late time. Wow. Wonderful. I won`t forget this place. Hopefully, you keep up with my expectation next time... as there will be a next time. "
