「After a short power interruption caused by a fallen tree in town, we got settled in. Very cute small house, with some great local activities. We hiked the loop and up the recommended nearby trail, explored the Grand Caverns and enjoyed the Alpine Goat Brewery. A peaceful and enjoyable stay.」

「We loved this location. Easy access to Wintergreen, or breweries and wineries along 151. The property is private and quiet, with a great piece of the Rockfish River flowing through. The house itself is so charming - we loved the modern yet rustic feel and the bed was so comfortable (the King size was a nice surprise since the listing said Queen)! We hope to be back soon when we're able to stay longer.」

「House was clean except for the two dirty hand towels lying on the bed when we arrived. Washer and dryer were behind a locked door so I had to message the host to get a code to open it. She first insisted it wouldn’t be inside a locked door, so I had to wait for her to find out about it and she replied quickly enough with the access code. I’m guessing nobody ever needed to use the washer before us? Strange. Rooms could have used dressers or something to put clothes in. Vanities in master...

「If I could give more than five stars I would. House is stocked with everything you need and then some. So peaceful and we love hearing the sound of the stream. The dogs loved the backyard and fire pit is amazing.」
