「Fantastic stay, Superb food & Drink」

「Position - brilliant right in the centre Parking- tight if you can get it, very limited at £15 a night Lift - Main lift not working so spare in use. This is a 2 person for the whole hotel!!! From your floor there is only a call button to go down!! Breakfast is on the fifth. Rooms - Poor. No space to put anything out. Needs a rethink more storage. Decor and carpets need renewing. No storage in bathroom, Nil,none. Where are you supposed to put any toiletries? No tissues, complimentary “bits”. No...

「Rooms nice but on the small side. Stifling hot and only a small fan provided. Shower drain blocked and overflowed. Breakfast excellent however and hotel was pretty quiet which was surprising as it was at the time of the Great Yorkshire Show. Is overpriced in my opinion at £250 a night with breakfast. Also had to pay for parking £10 a day.」

「Rooms were clean, quiet and had everything you needed. This hotel is room only. You have a key for the front door to come in and out and key for your room. There is a number to contact the owners but only saw them when checking in. Rooms provide tea/coffee and bottled water. It’s a no nonsense hotel which has everything you need in your room for your stay.」

「I’ve stayed here before purely because they still have baths, and even then I had to overlook the tired décor, worn‑out furnishings, lack of modern comforts, uncomfortable beds, no air con, single glazing, barely any plug sockets and the £15 daily parking fee. But this stay was somehow worse. Their so‑called “comfort” rooms are actually the lowest budget rooms, ranked below standard, proving they don’t understand the meaning of comfort at all. They even denied using the term despite happily...

「The Camberley is a hidden jewel in Harrogate I usually stay with a friend’s B&B but sadly it was booked for the week I wanted to be there. I took a chance on the Camberley and was very happily surprised. Kimberly was very lovely to deal with and she was very responsive throughout my day. The location is fantastic as it in near restaurants, pubs and transportation. I would recommend this B&B to anyone, check it out yourself.」

「I booked a room specifically for the air conditioning on the two hottest nights of the week. I booked the room through Expedia and checked and double checked that the room was listed as having air conditioning. When I arrived I was told the room did not have air conditioning and none were available. I had no other option to stay on such short notice and could not have got a refund anyway as it was booked through a third party. This is completely unacceptable and, quite frankly, unforgivable.」

「Second time staying here. Nice room with all the facilities you need. Bed a bit small. Getting in the property using the GOKI app they said to download didn’t work. Stuck outside for 15 mins trying to get it to work. All info requested entered but still said not checked in. In the end used the key code. All in all can’t fault it really, location right in the centre of Harrogate. I park in west park car park on tower road next to Travelodge as 24 hour parking for £9.00.」

「Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return.」
