"If you can afford any other hotel please for the love of god stay there. I would rather stay at the Bates Motel instead of this tish hole. After a long hard day working at Harewood House food festival we arrived to check in at 8pm to be told we had to pay to park in the hotel car park (like they didn’t charge enough for the crap room to cover the cost of this and they certainly don’t put that money to the upkeep of the hotel) We have stayed in many hotels but this by far is the worst. The beds were shocking, the cracked shower head put more water onto the floor instead of the bath, tile grout was moldy, holes in walls not filled / painted, no extraction so door to bathroom had to be kept closed so not to set fire alarm off (assuming they worked). The £3 room fan from Poundland would only point to the floor to try and cool the 100 Celsius room which it didn’t. Was told by check in staff that the restaurant closed at 20:30 and the bar at 21:00 which is useless. We were really hungry so had to rush to see what we could grab from the restaurant only for the chef to be stood in the middle of the school kitchen esque looking canteen pointing to a piece of unknown beige meat that looked dryer than Ghandis flip flops - “that is all we have”!! No menu, just that meat for a carvery that I wouldn’t feed to my dog. So we left to find a restaurant outside of the hotel (Wise choice). Second night we arrived back to find room not serviced, was told they only do this every 3rd day!! Avoid"

"A perfect venue for the conference centre and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. So much choice and really good quality. Note - we had an accessible room on the third floor. The room was great but the 03:30 fire alarm caused us some issues. Our mistake for not ticking the ‘need assistance’ box at check in."
