"My room was immaculately clean and was a good size. However, there were a lot of issues that spoilt my stay. Air conditioning set to 24 degrees. Apparently set and cannot be changed in March. Room very hot and stuffy. Patio doors could be opened, however both adjacent rooms chain-smoking on balcony all night and therefore door had to be closed for this reason. At breakfast I was not allowed to fill my small bottle with water. I was asked to leave it outside. This was despite the fact I only had coffee and toast for breakfast and was not asking to take out food or juice. Breakfast items were of cheap quality. Bacon was mostly fat, swimming in grease. Bread was very cheap processed bread. The croissants were small and hard and cake very undercooked. Fruit salad consisted of browning apple with either pieces of orange or whole grapes. No whole fruit available. No healthy choices except a small section of Laura lettuce tomato slices and cucumber. Swimming pool only available at another site. Pictures of sun loungers on the Expedia website do not correspond to the hotel. There is also no waterfront at the hotel. Hotel is tucked down a side street, which I was not expecting. Local restaurants ok although difficult to find healthy choices. Stay OK but I wouldn’t recommend to friends or family. Malta beautiful though!"

"Lovely location and nice room with great view. Shower was not good - v difficult to get temperature correct and badly positioned so hard to get under the shower head! Air con was feeble. Pool is lovely but beach is v scruffy not nice (and I changed since our last visit two years ago. Unfortunately a member of staff spilt a whole tray of drinks, including red wine (not even ours!) on my wife which was shocking and resulted in two days of trying get our clothes cleaned. They didn't even offer us a free drink let alone a discount on the final bill. Not sure we'll be back."

"The property location is amazing. Right along the sea but property needs a bit of overhaul as it’s a bit aged property. For example the plug sockets are still old eu pins , the plumbing makes sounds and the carpets needs more deep cleaning but overall the property is nice and very spacious."

"The one bedroom apartment (23) was perfect for what we needed and exactly as advertised. Great location for Valletta with a picturesque walk along the mall to get into the city within 10 minutes. Valletta is the city within the walls, the apartment is in Floriana but it is so close, it may as well be Outer Valletta. Check-in instructions arrived via a handy WhatsApp video before we arrived. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well equipped, with washing tablets for the dishwasher, a washer dryer and fridge and freezer. The bathroom and shower were all supplied with shower gel.soap, shampoo and conditioner. Bathrobes also provided and iron and ironing board. The only minor criticism were that it would have been nice to have a safe for leaving valuables, some hooks in the bathroom for hanging and drying towels and some hooks for coats in the lounge. (Although in the summer I guess there aren’t many coats being worn- but we did contend with some heavy rain). The apartment even supplied a large umbrella which we needed. There is parking outside for weekends for free if you hire a car. Sadly we didn’t have time or the weather to use the roof terrace but it does look good for when the sun is out. Don’t miss the lovely botanical Argotti gardens at the end of the street, some great views from here and very peaceful."

"I highly recommend this hotel as the suites are really spacious and fully equipped with the most modern appliances and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet on the top floor is a real feast for foodies and the view over Valletta is breathtaking. Unfortunately since I wasn’t on holiday I didn’t get a chance to experience the pool and spa but I can confirm that there is fast broadband connectivity in the room."

"A decent 4 star hotel with good amenities. Friendly, efficient staff and an excellent location. But the soundproofing between our room 402 and 403 was non-existent. Possibly because of the connecting door. Whatever the reason we could hear their 'endless' conversations clearly, the coughing, the hair dyer etc.."
