At night I turned it off due to the chill and the comforter was a heavy winter comforter. Then I got hot and had to turn on AC again. The cycle repeated over and over which left me sleep deprived "

"Right in the action on Republic. Old school classy hotel that was nevertheless very comfortable thanks to the friendly staff especially Maria. Amazing bed & luxurious towels. Loved the third floor terrace & the tiny gym with a well. Just be aware the hotel is right next to the opera which can be noisy until about 11 pm if there’s a performance and a few nights of rehearsal leading up to it. May help if the windows were double or triple paned."
