"Checked in and given room keys. Went to enter room and cleaning staff was standing in the doorway. Room was still being cleaned. Cleaners were rushed to finish. Room was not clean when we entered finally. Trash on the floor. Mirror sticky debris and bathroom sink not wiped clean. Bed was horrible condition, sloped to center so bad you could see it. Paint on shelf in bathroom bubbling and peeling up. Water pipes sounded like world war three when turned water on in sink. None of the staff wear any type of uniform and looked like they just walked in off the street. "

"I reserved 2 rooms and both had bad views from the balcony. One room was on the 2nd floor, great spacious room but the view was blocked by the children's playground. the second room's balcony was right above the outdoor firepit, so all you saw were other guest enjoying the outdoor balcony and firepit. The rooms were great with full kitchens. The facility needs a few more amenities but everything like restaurants and stores were in walking distance. The only other complaint was being on the 2nd floor there was alot of noise from workers and all linen, equipment etc was kept on that floor on carts in the hallways. Wasn't really a great view, to walk out of your room to see that every day. "

"We had a room reserved and paid weeks prior to a staying and when we got there around midnight, they said well it is first come first serve. We have no rooms available and stuck us in a room with only one bed. We told them this would not work as an option because we had five people we had to wait around an hour to get another room cleaned for us. I don’t understand where she meant first come first serve when we were one of those reserved ones. We had children with us in around 3 AM. There was all kinds of loud music outside of our window at the entryway going on for over 30 minutes like a party. We got hardly any sleep and we needed to be up early. I asked to speak to a manager she said she would give my name and number, but never got with me. After driving 12 hours, the last thing you want to do is wait over an hour at midnight on a room that you had already reserved and argue with someone about having a room available. They were not very friendly. All they kept saying is first come first serve, which made no sense to me. "

"Was put in the part of the hotel that was under renovation, heard work being done down the hall at just after 6am. the elevator was extremely tiny and not finished. The indoor pool was icy cold so couldn't go in, waterfalls wouldn't turn on, the jacuzzi was broken and blocked off, the only good part was the room itself. Beds were comfy and loved hearing the waves crash up on the beach all night very relaxing but other than that I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. "

"We have stayed there many times over the years traveling to and from NJ & NC and rooms are old always but clean - we personally like it because of the location... all the way at the end of the boardwalk and out of the main hub-bub. We also appreciate the jacuzzi tubs, but as of late they have not been working well enough."
