"Singaporean family of 6, hard to fault anything. Most staff can speak basic English and attention is rendered to all appopriately, young and old. Onsen has different pool and some are not just warm enough for young kids to soak and enjoy. Food great Sleep mattress is Beauty Rest, futon might be alittle too thin for me but good for all kids. "

"Spent a winter wonderland of a week at Mont Cervin and can't recommend it highly enough. 15min walk from town but you never have to do the uphill yourself because the wonderful owners will shuttle you to and from the ski fields. At night they'll shuttle you up to the main strip for dinner and it's an easy walk back! I recommend adding on the brekky option, saves a lot of hassle and is delicious every morning. Plus it's a nice time eating with everyone else saying there. The big highlight of...

"A very comfortable stay for us on a road trip. The property is located in the mountains, about 30-45 minutes to the coastline where all the actions are. Rooms were very clean and spacious. We had rooms that overlook the ski lifts. We went during the quiet season so there was limited dining options. It is a huge property with lots of attractions and we could imagine the buzz in the peak seasons. There was no air-conditioning in the rooms during our stay but the staff brought in electric fans...

"Amazing experience overall. This is your home away from home. Place is very spacious, has a lovely retro vibe that brings you back to the 80’s. The owner couple went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable and memorable as possible. Breakfast was nice and fresh. The place has natural hot spring spa bath that’s available 24/7 which was great. They gave us a ride to places, arranged transportation, even cooked special meal when I came down with a cold while staying there. We...

"This Route Inn location is a bit older than some of their other locations, however it still has some good amenities like a public bath and in-building coin laundry (a must for hot Japan summers!). Room was small but clean, overall a good experience. I thought the included breakfast was every day, however I only received 1 meal coupon for my 2 day stay, which was surprising. Not really expensive, but didn't purchase a 2nd day and just got a bento on the train instead."
